Lipro Smart Fan Lamp

The Lipro Smart Fan Lamp combines a ceiling fan and a ceiling light in one fitting. In a room with a single ceiling rose that is often the only way to have both, and it saves the ugly compromise of a fan on the ceiling and a lamp in the corner.

Lipro is the smart home brand associated with Meizu, and the fan lamp is certified under Matter, so it joins Apple Home without a Lipro hub.

What works in Apple Home

• Turn the light on and off, and set brightness and white temperature.
• Turn the fan on and off, and set its speed.
• Use both in scenes and automations, and control them with Siri.

Apple Home treats the fan and the light as two accessories in one fitting, so you can run the fan overnight without the light, or vice versa.

Before you buy

A fan lamp is heavier than a light and puts a moving load on the ceiling. Check that the ceiling rose and the joist above it are rated to carry it, and have it fitted by an electrician.

Ceiling height matters as well. Fan blades need clearance below them, and a low ceiling makes a fan lamp uncomfortable or unsafe.

Lipro sells mainly in mainland China, so check the supply voltage, the mounting plate and the app language before importing, and confirm the fitting is the Apple Home version.
