Lockly Secure Pro Zeno Series Smart Lock

The Lockly Secure Pro Zeno Series Smart Lock is the middle model in Lockly’s Zeno range. It drops the camera of the Vision and the face recognition of the Visage, and keeps the parts most households actually use: Apple Home Key, a 3D fingerprint reader, the PIN Genie keypad and built-in Wi-Fi.

What works in Apple Home

• Tap an iPhone or an Apple Watch on the lock to open it with Apple Home Key.
• Lock and unlock the door from the Home app, and see the current state.
• Get a notification on every lock and unlock event.
• Use the lock in scenes and automations across the rest of your Apple Home.

Siri asks you to authenticate before it unlocks the door. That is how Apple Home treats every lock, and it is not a limitation of this model.

Ways in

The PIN Genie keypad shuffles the position of the digits on every use, so somebody watching you type, or reading the fingermarks left on the keys, cannot work out the code. Offline access codes let you give a visitor entry even when the broadband is down. A 3D fingerprint sensor and a mechanical key complete the set.

Connectivity

Wi-Fi is built into the lock, so it does not need a Lockly bridge. Apple Home still needs a HomePod or an Apple TV in the house for remote access and for automations.
