The Lockly Vision Zeno Series Video Smart Lock puts a video doorbell into the lock itself. A 2K camera and an intercom sit above the keypad, so one unit covers entry, the doorbell and the view of the porch. That saves a second device, a second app and a second power supply.

What works in Apple Home

• Tap an iPhone or an Apple Watch on the lock to open it with Apple Home Key.
• Lock and unlock the door from the Home app, and see the current state.
• Get a notification on every lock and unlock event.
• Use the lock in scenes and automations across the rest of your Apple Home.

Siri asks you to authenticate before it unlocks the door. That is how Apple Home treats every lock, and it is not a limitation of this model.

The camera and the intercom run in the Lockly app rather than in the Home app. Treat the Vision as a HomeKit lock with a camera attached, not as a HomeKit camera.

Ways in

The Vision carries a 3D fingerprint sensor, the PIN Genie keypad, offline access codes and a mechanical key. The PIN Genie keypad shuffles the digit positions on every use, so an onlooker cannot learn the code by watching or by reading the fingermarks.

Connectivity

Wi-Fi is built in, so there is no separate bridge. Remote access and automations in Apple Home still need a HomePod or an Apple TV in the house.
