Paulmann Smart Dimmer-RGBCW: not an Apple Home product

Zigbee

This product does not work with Apple Home, and there is no evidence it exists under this name.

Nothing called “Smart Dimmer-RGBCW” appears in Paulmann’s catalogue. Paulmann name their smart luminaires by family — Nova, Atria, Hildor, Aptare — and their colour products are labelled RGBW, not RGBCW.

The wider point holds whatever the product is called. Paulmann’s smart range runs over Zigbee through their smik gateway, and their compatibility page lists every system that gateway talks to: Zigbee, Philips Hue, Amazon Alexa, MagentaZuhause and FRITZ!. Apple Home is not among them, and the word Apple does not appear anywhere on the page or on the smik gateway listing except as a payment method.

A Paulmann Zigbee bulb can be driven from the Home app only by joining it to a third-party Zigbee bridge that exposes it to HomeKit itself, such as a Philips Hue Bridge. That is a property of the bridge, not of the Paulmann product, and it is not something Paulmann support or document.
