小米全自动智能门锁

The Xiaomi Automatic Smart Door Lock is a fully automatic push-pull lock. You do not turn a handle or a thumb turn: once the lock recognises you, the motor withdraws the bolts and you push the door open. Closing it re-locks automatically.

That is a genuinely different daily experience from a deadbolt, and it is the norm in the Chinese market this lock is built for.

What works in Apple Home

• Lock and unlock the door from the Home app, and see the current state.
• Get a notification on every lock and unlock event.
• Use the lock in scenes and automations, and control it with Siri.

Siri asks you to authenticate before it unlocks the door. That is how Apple Home treats every lock, and it is not a limitation of this model.

Ways in

Fingerprint, a keypad password, temporary passwords for visitors, an NFC card, Bluetooth from the phone and an emergency mechanical key.

Connectivity

Apple Home support is granted through the Mi Home app: you set the lock up in Mi Home first and authorise it into Apple Home from there. It is not a lock you add to the Home app straight out of the box, so plan for the extra step and for a Mi account.

Before you buy

This lock is sold for the Chinese market. Check the app language, the region of your Mi account and the warranty position before you order from an importer.

It suits doors from 40 mm to 120 mm thick. The Pro version adds a camera and a doorbell to the same body.
